Worst value for money of any ski resort I have been to (and I have been to every major resort in Western North America over the past 5 years). Hard to reach, expensive lodging, tickets, and parking unless you want to stay 40 minutes away and day-hike to the lifts (I can understand this at a crowded place like Vail, but the pricing philosophy at CB seems to be that once you're there they can squeeze you for everything), very limited terrain (about a fourth to half the acreage of world-class places like Mammoth, Jackson, Snowmass, Big Sky, Snowbird, etc.), and to top it off inferior quantity of snow compared to the rest, which is a real problem because the steeps become rock gardens easily. Plus almost no glades to speak of. Why is it so over-rated? Maybe because many who went throught the hassle and expense to get there were in denial.
