Copper is a great ski vacation resort for a family or expert skiers. The place is huge with so much different terrain to choose from that expert skier and beginning families can all have a great time.
Plus a bunch of terrain parks ranging from huge to just learning to slide a rail and get some air not to mention one of the best half-pipes in the country.
The resort terrain is divided so that beginners are very unlikely to encounter any experts and vice versa. Speaking of terrain, there is lots of all kinds of terrain including snowcat (free) access to extreme hike in steeps, cliff areas, and trees.
Long, steep groomed runs, bump runs, big steep bowls, race courses, fun rolling intermediate runs and easy rolling beginners slopes.
The base village with lots of condos, restaurants, bars, and shops is great. While free parking for day skiers requires a bus shuttle, there's lots of pay parking, and if you're staying overnight the parking is free, and frankly there's no reason to leave once you get there everything you want is there.
Passage Point Condos is the best, with great hot tubs and a Starbucks onsite.
