The downhill terrain at Copper Mountain is great due to the mountain's layout. Far right are greens, middle is blues, and the left third is blacks. This makes it easy for families to do simple runs and not get stuck on a run that is way too hard for them. The only problem with the terrain is that it does not seem to be marked as well as other resorts such as Steamboat or Winter Park, but it is manageable. The terrain parks are great because they offer variety for every skill level, from beginners to experts. Plus, all parks are easily accessible from the main runs.
I will be back to Copper Mountain, just not during the holiday season (the lines can get long). Great to keep track of all the members in your group because of the main base. Good snow and nice people make the resort a better place.
