    Pros: cheap food, naturally divided terrain, lift maps, variety of runs

    Cons: unclear signing, a little icy at trail merges, beginners out of element

We hit up copper on a friday and it was as promised, the least crowded big resort on our trip. If you are an eastern or midwest skier, copper is probably the easiest adjustment due to their grooming. There is some nice powdery runs off the american eagle and super bee lifts, but even for us as intermediate-advanced skiers, the greens off the highpoint and the blues off the timberline lifts were the best part of the day. Also, the 5 dollar special at the east village was the best and most affordable resort food ever. The other nice thing about copper is that trail maps were on most lifts so we didn't have to pick up a map
