In addition to a great town with authenticity and charm, world-class terrain, consistently good snow and friendly staff, IMHO, Breck is the absolute best laid-out mountain I've ever been to (and I've been to more than 60). There's a huge variety of terrain - something for everyone from beginners to the best of the best - and all of it is easy to get both to and from. Although this is a very large mountain(s), there's no real need to start your journey back home an hour or more before lifts close. You're likely not more than one - that's right, one - lift ride from a trail that gets you where you need to be, and there's no silly run-outs like Winter Park. This is one of the best all-around ski resorts in North America.
