While it has a reputation as an "intermediate mountain", there are lots of places for those looking for a challenge. Chair 6, the E Chair, Imperial, and the t-bar provide access to some really good terrain, and those chairs don't get used by the less adventurous, so even on weekends there are relatively short lift lines there. Fortunately, Breck gets somewhat more snow than its neighbors, so those tougher areas are usually available and ungroomed - Breck saves most of its grooming for the greens and blues. And it's a real town, not a made-for-the-mountain community, so there are a lot of choices for eating, renting equipment, and shopping. But bundle up, it can get cold there.
