Skiing was great at Breckenridge in early March 2008. Breckenridge is definitely the best laid out resort I have been to in terms of getting around to the different peaks (The worst was Steamboat but Steamboat has better snow). Excellent, long wide groomers. Lift lines grow around 10:30am everyday. Slopes remain somewhat uncrowded since the place is so big. Rode the new gondola from the base which was convenient but it costs $10.00 if you want to park close to the gondola station. Town itself was OK, lots of strange locals lurking about though. Got ill eating at the dirty Irish Pub in town. Would not recommend that place. Bubba Gump was good. The Breckenridge Brewery was another dive type place, bad food but decent beer. Overall I would recommend Breckenridge for skiing but the town itself is kind of run down.
