As an out of state resident and yearly skier I thought the skiing was fine. This was the first time I had skied at Breckenridge and I thought the gondola helped the parking and the slopes were great. We were there Dec.27 and 28. We can only go at Christmas due to our jobs and we always get hurt by the higher prices and bigger crowds. I understand that is normal, but we can usually find a little bit of a discount on lift tickets . There was no discount at all, so we went to Winter Park on the 3rd. day, where prices went down from 86 to 75 dollars. Again, I liked the skiing just fine despite cold weather, but likely will not go back because of high prices and no discounts. It seems to be the American way to overcharge when you know a lot of people will be there. The tickets we bought said regular price 86 and discount 86 for Breckenridge. What a bargain!
