This resort should be called groomed land. The resort itself is very nice, great architecture, a good vibe and a lot of $$$. The terrain is very varied and a little of something for everyone. The problem of beaver is grooming they take it out of proportion. I personally like mountains that are a little wild (Normal conditions), but in beaver creek almost every run is groomed into perfection taking most of the fun out of riding. What I personally think is that they are trying to target a wealthy costumer base, that only skis for a few runs and then just go and walk around with their $$$ clothes. Now Vail is as wild as it gets, what an incredible resort.
But over all good experience, do no regret it. If you want to escape from the crowds, definitely go to Beaver Creek. You can park down in the town and the parking is free. I guess if you are into over groomed runs, this is your place.
