Pros: Great skiing in a family-friendly, customer centered atmosphere
Recommended For: Single/Newlyweds, Family Friendly, Empty Nesters
We have skied all over the country and choose to return to Beaver Creek yearly. Its family-friendly approach and customer service take us back every year! There is really something for everyone. The mountain is easy to use and the expert trails are an easy chairlift ride from the beginner and intermediate trails, allowing my husband and I to ski the trails we like within a close distance of the ski school trails. Other resorts require a lot of traversing to get to advanced terrain. The ski school is the best I have seen. Summed up by one of the instructors, "We work for the guest". They have ski ambassadors who spot guests and offer to take their skis to the slopeside-- what a help when one is walking with young children! The dining is out of this world, and the apres ski is not to be missed. The Ritz Carlton is a great place for mid day cocoa breaks and the Chop House has a great champagne hour at 3:30. We have truly been spoiled by Beaver Creek!
