all on one mountain, easy to navigate, and ski in ski out
not as much terrain as expected, miniscule town, disappointing trails, super expensive

Full review

I went there on a small tour of Colorado and went to Beaver Creek for a week, and stayed in Bachelor Gulch. First I loved that it was all on one mountain, but then I realized that there was nearly always a long traverse between the lifts. Then when I wanted to go out for dinner, but there were hardly any restaurants that a burger didn't cost $15 in an overcrowded Ritz-Carlton. I would recommend it to families who are new to the slopes, but remember that there are still awesome double-black-diamonds.
