i said if there WAS avy danger they wouldnt open it. A Basin's staff is incredibly meticulous about their safety and that is why after new snowfall, they blast everywhere on the mountain and make sure potential slides are taken care of

there are several slides each week on loveland pass. just know the danger and be as safe as you want to be.

Actually, there WAS an avalanche this season at the basin in the Montezuma bowl that15 people were caught in, luckily everyone was alright but you are very smart to be cautious, even in bounds of the resort
