    Great local resort

    Pros: Close and inexpensive

    Cons: Closed lifts=less terrain

    Went in the end of January and were able to get some discount tickets online. The lifts were a little slow, but loved the short lift lines. It hadn't snow... Full review

    Agree with if ain't broke don't fix it

    Pros: Lots of wide open runs

    Cons: Can be extremely cold.

    My last time at A-Basin was actually in January of 1987, not 2005, the web site wouldn't let me go back that far. I'm in total agreement with the reviewer ... Full review

    Pros: Steep terrain, good trees, great views.

    Cons: Limited acerage.

    I only skied at A-Basin four days but was able to experience most of the mountain. Skiing with a local helps. If you like fast steep alpine groomers you wil... Full review
