I can understand the gripes about A-basin being afflicted by hippie-dom. That would be a real turn-off for the conservative types. Dog crap is not pretty and nor is a high-alpine parklot when it looks like a tailgate party. But, to the guy who gave A-basin terrain a "1" rating: well, you just can't do that buddy, that is just plain wrong. You don't ever give A-basin terrain a one unless you're the type of person whose legs quiver at the mere thought of full-length green runs. Go back to Vail, loveland or keystone dude! You just can't give beautiful, high-alpine terrain a "1". Even if you can't ski it, you should be awe-struck by its sheer beauty that is unspoiled by the ubiquitous I-70. It deserves a "2" for looks alone, and if you actually ski it then you'll know it deserves a "5".
