The village resorts of the Champsaur valley (Ancelle, Chaillol, Laye, Saint Léger les Mélèzes and Serre-Eyraud) are the best playgrounds to learn to ski with instructors, on the slopes or in the kindergarten.

Further up in the valley, Orcières 1850 is playing in the yard of the big resorts: glide at all altitudes (1850/2725 m) with 100 km of slopes, pleasure and well-being at the Grande Ourse (pool, relaxation space, ice skating ...).

The nordic sites of the Champsaur open the doors of the Ecrins National Park for snowshoes, cross country skiing or dog sled riding.
