Located on the banks of the Sihlsee, Einsiedeln has three drag lifts of its own, but is a short drive from the Hoch-Ybrig Plus pass area access cable car up the valley at Brunni. The village is dominated by its monastery, which is the largest and best preserved baroque building in Switzerland.
