Gerlitzen Overview

Gerlitzen, is the main skiing resort in the Villach area. The Ossaicher See is a privately run family hotel (in the Familien Hotel chain) called Hotel Sonnenblick. Here they will teach children as young as 18 months old how to ski for two hours per day, the only known ski school in Austria which will teach any child under 3 years old. Annenheim is a pretty lake-side village close to Villach and linked by a quad chair to the Gerlitzen ski area above. The three country lift pass covers neighbouring resorts in Italy and Slovenia.
