While Amie’s mom went into labor in the world-famous Wildflour Baking Co. Cookie Shop, her dad was competing in an extreme skiing comp on The Fingers at Squaw Valley. To this day he has a line named after him (Engerbretson’s). The first time Amie road KT-22 she was four and as Amie recalls, her dad “kicked her off the edge and hoped for the best.” To this day it’s her favorite lift she’s ever skied.
