Lifts so slow could walk; 40 person board classes
We were interested to give this hill a try after it advertised 1 day free lift ticket for attending a Big Bear function. When we arrived, the ticket window refused to honor the coupon. Guest Services claimed that it did not recognize the coupon (even though the validation of the coupon was on the Hill's website until recently). We ended up buying the tickets, which were full high-season resort price even though the hill only had 2 runs open (the flat green and the 660' jib park). The lifts were so slow that you literally could have hiked up the hill faster. We were interested in putting our daughter in a ski school class, only to find out that the choices were a 40 person "Mass Class" or a private lesson.
I enjoy small, family-style resorts as much as the next person and wanted to give the hill the benefit of the doubt. I cannot ever see wasting the time and money again.
