A light dusting overnight - approx 1-2 inches. Continued snow flurries off and on expected for today. A welcome addition to an already great base. Conditions varied yesterday from machine groom hard pack to soft sugar and then corn slush at the lower elevations.
Great conditions : ) A little choppy here and there, but on the whole amazing for this time of year. And there are some incredible jumps built for a big park expo/film thing happening through the weekend.
Cooler temps mixed with regular snow flurries and eager snow cats makes for race fast machine groomed winter conditions in the AM and zero lift lines. Occasional cloud break with almost no wind. Couldn't really ask for better. The top is still closed until visibility allows.
Went up with kids and friends. Heavy snow south facing, but really great conditions for late April. The wind and lightening closed Headwall early but Granite Chief while open was fun, and KT was just plain fun till 4pm. +5 stars for late spring snow.
