Sierra Summit is definitely better than anything south of it and probably superior to anything on the east coast, but inferior to most places north and other central to northern Sierra Nevada and Rocky Mt. states. The terrain park (singular) is good, but nowhere near the level of the better known resorts. Also, no one has mentioned that some of Sierra Summit's best runs end out on a long, flat cat track 10 minutes walk from the nearest lift. If you live in central CA, it's better than driving all the way to Tahoe or the major trek to Mammoth...and exponentially less crowded. My ratings are only in comparison to the other mountains I've ridden: Heavenly, Sierra at Tahoe, Mammoth, Breckenridge and Dodge Ridge.
