Sierra is a decent resort in the Tahoe area. It has 2000 acres over 2000 feet of vertical and varied terrain for beginners and advanced skiers and riders. They also have many terrain parks and the parks are varied in the difficulty of the obstacles. The tree skiing my personal favorite is amazing. Plenty of powder and even grindable fallen trees. Wait in lines is so so really depends which lift and where on the mountain you are. There are a mix of regular lifts and detachable. Usually the lines for the high speed quads are longer while the line for the "slow" lift literally right next to that lift are essentially empty.
Overall great place just wish there was closer lodging because we were forced to stay in South Lake Tahoe and drive there and on our way there was an accident and it ended up taking us over two hours to get there which meant we didn't get onto our first run until 11am.
