Sierra-at-Tahoe was great. Woke up to 1.5' of pristine pow which made for great skiing. Plenty of mogul runs. Was able to find plenty of untracked snow in the trees and side-country areas even after two days of no snow. Eventually I found my self doing the same runs and became slightly bored on day four, but that's still pretty good. Friendly staff and non-pretentious skiers/boarders.
I was there with my sister in law who had never skied before and she was able to find a few runs that she really enjoyed by the end of the trip. If you go adventuring, there are plenty of hidden gems throughout the mountain.
