Sierra-at-Tahoe

Since its inception in 1946, Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort has grown into its role as one of Lake Tahoe's largest resort areas. Sierra-at-Tahoe features 14 chairlifts that access 2000 acres of skiable terrain and 2,212 feet of vertical. The resort also provides 5 backcountry access gates into Huckleberry Canyon. The resort includes 8 food outlets, 6 bars, ski & snowboard group and private lessons as well as a telemark and backcountry center. The South Shore of Lake Tahoe also provides plentiful lodging options for guests.

Air Travel:

The nearest airports are Reno/Tahoe International Airport (RNO) and Sacramento International Airport (SMF).

By Car:

From San Francisco: Take I-80E east into Sacramento. Continue on US-50 E toward Sacramento/South Lake Tahoe. Bear right at US-50. Turn right at Sierra-at-Tahoe Rd

From Sacramento: Take the I-80-BR E ramp to Reno/Placerville/Fresno (CA-99 S). Merge into US-50 E. Bear right at US-50. Turn right at Sierra-at-Tahoe Rd

From South Lake Tahoe: Head west on US-50 toward Sacramento. Go over Echo Summit. Turn left at Sierra-at-Tahoe Rd.

From Reno: Take the US-395 S ramp to Carson City. Take the US-395 S exit 57B to Virginia City/Carson City/So Lake Tahoe. Bear right at N Carson St. Continue on S Carson St. Bear right and head toward US-50. Bear right at US-50. Bear left at Lake Tahoe Blvd. Turn left at Pioneer Trl. Turn left at US-50. Bear right at Myers Rd. Continue on Echo Summit Rd. Continue on Johnston Pass Rd. Bear right at US-50. Turn left at Sierra at Tahoe Rd

Ground Transportation:

NAC SKI CLUB: NAC SKI offers ski bus trips from South Bay, SF and Sacramento to Sierra Resort on most weekends. Besides discounted lift tickets, you can also book various rentals, beginner's package, group lessons, etc. Please visit www.nacski.com/sierra to reserve your seat. Campus pickups for college students are available from UC Berkeley, UC Davis, Sacramento State, San Francisco State.
