    Pros: good mountain, good for intermediate skiers/boarders

    Cons: Poor planning, overbuilding, overpriced, commercialized

    They say they are a family resort, but with these prices they are only fit for rich families. Commercialized and oversold, very crowded.... Full review

    Pros: large mountain, interesting runs, powder snow

    Cons: expensive, long lift lines

    This mountain is great. It has nice long cruisers perfect for beginners and intermediates, and quite a few steep runs for those who want a little challenge.... Full review

    Pros: Lots of varied terrain, large terrain park, close to Truckee

    Cons: Huge crowds, long lines.

    Pros: nice mountain

    Cons: pricey, backside is icy, overcrowded

    I have been skiing may places and northstar is not exactly at the top of my list. Although I thought the skiing was good, it probably not worth the 70 bucks... Full review
