Northstar is a good mountain. The problem is they are now into selling condo's and building a hotel and forgot about the day skiier. There partking is atrocious. Parking out at the gas station and being bused in takes to much time. Then the overly long walk through the village to get to the Gondola going up two flights of stairs with ski boots is just to much. You can still park up high near the Home trail but again it is a long walk down stairs to a icy road and again through the village. Should you have a family with small childerm getting to the mid mountain where skiing starts could easly take a hour. As a pass holder for the last seven years it sad to see a good mounatin tranformed into what it has become.
