Full review

Took my family to Northstar Village last Friday November 24th. The resort hadn't opened for skiing yet so this is a review of the Village. The ice skating wrink and fire pits in the middle of the village were a great touch. Skates were $5 to rent, and they made it pretty easy to get a pair. However, if you are an avid skater bring your own. The ones they rent are pretty uncomfortable. The village seems to have good promise but at the time of this review most of the shops had not opened yet. We wanted to have dinner at the village but there were no higher end dining options that were apparent to us. The Starbucks was packed, but there didn't seem to be the bars/pubs to support an apres ski atmosphere. Perhaps that is still to come.
