Overall Mountain High is a decent resort if you're going for a weekend or a day. Because its so close to L.A. it doesn't have the greatest of snow conditions, but when it does I would say its one of the best resorts. The terrain is great. There are many great features in the park and plenty of downhill runs. If you're not a park person then this might not be the place for you cuz there is damn lot of park stuff. Everything else is average. The food sucks, customer service is ok, tickets are expensive, worst parking ever (if you're lucky you might find something on the street). By the way, watch out for people who will steal your gear. It happened to my sister. Oh and one more thing to watch out for....the Crowds. The lift lines are pretty long and are about the same length if you go to Big Bear (Snow Summit/Bear Mountain). If the snow conditions suck really bad, don't go here...pretty much the same for everywhere. As far as the level of your abilities most of Mountain High is intermediate....like 50% intermediate, 30% expert, 20% beginner. Good Luck going there and watch out for the some of the crazy potheads (there's a reason it called Mountain HIGH!!)
