The Ski Park just broke 200 inches of base! I thought the first storm was epic, Some people in town must be thinking this is getting out of hand but I'm more than happy to report that Mt Shasta has more snow and more powder than anyplace in the world! Not Mammoth, Not Tahoe, no one is getting the amount of snow Mount Shasta is getting. I know your going to say, "what about Colorado, or Utah?" NOPE, well okay then, "what about Washington, or Idaho?" NO! Well then "Alaska has to have more powder!" Not even close! What is going on? A small California Ski resort, not in the Sierras, not in the Rockies but in the Cascades! 14,162 foot Mt Shasta is now the place to be if you want powder! Mt Shasta has always been a little known ski and board park, but to those who make a living Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowmobiling, or any winter sport, Mount Shasta, and the surrounding area is simply know as the best backcountry skiing & Boarding in the world! Did you really think Shasta was just a Cola?
