  Great Snow, Sun & Mountain

  Pros: You can spend the entire day skiing and not repeat a run.

  Cons: Weekend hordes from LA.

  I've been skiing Mammoth since I first discovered it thirty years ago. Drove up on a Friday and, by Sunday afternoon, twelve feet of snow had fallen. Moved there a year later.... Full review

  Pros: Absolutely Massive, One of the few truely elite mountains

  Pros: Big wide open terrain, lots of lifts, great nitelife
