If you will scroll right below the reviews and click on yearly - this will show you how much snow the resort has received - TOTAL - Mammoth haws received a total of 71 inches since January. I work in the area as a meteorologist, and we all know that this has been a bad snow year. But for mammoth to claim a base twice what they have received is ridiculous. Weather has been overly warm, with no snow at all - and top has bald spots, BALD SPOTs - yet they claim 180 inch base - REALLY? I love this mountain have been skiing it many YEARS - but get sick of the snow exaggeration. So just so you know, there is now a button called yearly - this will show you the snow totals since January - and if in November and december - this will show the totals from the first snowfall. People, we have received 71 inches since January and that is even a stretch according to the national weather service who takes very Accurate readings in this area daily and after each storm. So really probably only 60 inches since January yet the base at the bottom is more then that. and the top nearly triples what they have received. Just want you skiers who pay HARD EARNED GOOD MONEY TO KNOW THE TRUTH.
