Patrick: I'd say your best bet is mammoth they have the longest season in CA
Lasting through May or June so u should still find plenty open runs their plus they are higher in elevation then Tahoe resorts base is 9,000 top is 11,000

Runs yesterday were great in the morning but slushy half way down by lunch so we gonna ski 9 til 2 each day. Kirkwood was great, mostly unpisted but plenty of snow considering, just very heavy under foot. Where they have pisted, it's smooth as a pool table & fast. Sentinel bowl was nice

3.25.15: Had a Fab Spring day of ski/board Fun! Best to get there before 9 and jump on the lift as soon as they start running, temp heat up quick! I got 8 runs in 94 mins on skis, starting at 9am. One of 1st bunch up the lifts. I'm in transition- so, then 8 runs on SB, got too slushy and I converted back and got 1 more run in on skis. Then decided to call it a day just before 3p- too slushy, grass areas popping thru, and rock obstacles.. thrugh

@patrick sorry but if we don't get a storm early April then No, in fact I would be surprised if resorts are still open at all. If you haven't bought your pass yet then keep an eye on Mt Rose as that is the highest resort around here. Head to Colorado maybe instead or bring your hiking gear here.

Patrick: I'm sorry to say this but, barring a massive snow storm I don't believe so. There will be less open if anything. A lot of resorts have shut down in the past week. It is really heating up in California. The highs in the valley are like 70-80 degrees. I'm sure big resorts will be open, but hardly.
