    For advanced riders

Pros: great snow, lack of crowds

Cons: nothing else to do than ski

If you love skiing in powder, then this is the place to go after a storm. But you really have to love skiing to be here - it's out of the way,... Full review

    The Wood

Pros: Extreme terrain, most snow, no crowds

Cons: Short runs, wet snow, windy

    Tahoe's best

    Pros: Terrain, snowfall

    Cons: location

Kirkwood is the perfect well rounded resort. It has great steeps, great beginner terrain, great trees, great bowls, and there is always a challenge lurking around every turn. And, like so many... Full review

No crowds, deep powder, super elevation, huge variety, expedition skiing

Pros: virtually no lines, excellent snow, great variety across huge area

    Cons: some slower lifts

I grew up skiing in the North East: Sugarbush, Killington, Stowe, Loon, Sunday River, etc. I have been skiing in many different places, both in the US and abroad. I must say... Full review
