by far, this is one of the best places to board/ski. i have been almost everywhere in california, and for the past 3 yrs i have been a season pass holder here. people are EXTREMELY NICE. from the staff to the riders, it is impossible to find a rude person. people are so nice that if you rest on the side of the mountain, people will come to you and ask if your ok. also, if you ride the lifts on your own you are bound to make a friend or two.

one of the best things about this mountain though is NO LINES. slopes are always empty and once again NO LINES. unlike mammoth and there 15-20 min lines. WTF. also, june is part of mammoth, so it's always well maintained and clean. and if you get a season pass, you can get 50% off daily passes at mammoth. i usually get the college season pass so its worth it, eventhough i live in san diego. if you do come here w/ family, you'll love it. cabins are CHEAP. nothing compared to the prices at sqaw, mammoth, and tahoe. it'll help the pockets much.

the one bad thing i must say about june is the night life. i don't mean night life as in clubs, but restaurants. theres one place. the food is great and the service is awesome no matter how busy they are, but eating here everyday can get a bit tiresome. mammoth mountain is just 25 min away so if you have time, go there to shop and eat, but sleep at june.
