“Great day on the slopes! Spring conditions. Snow better than expected. Still wondering why Homewood employees would move my skis from view while I was having a beer upstairs. "We worked a long day, and want to get home" is a lame excuse...especially at 4pm.”

“Reporting a 16 inch base is a joke!... what they don't tell you is the only area open is the learn how to ski/board section at the base which is serviced by two tow ropes. the run is about 200 yards long... hard to believe they're even open ang charging for a lift ticket. I can find better skiing in Wisconsin! with the current conditions, I think Northstar might be the best choice, if you can get a deep discount or have the Epic pass.”

Pros: Prob the best view of the lake; scenic drive when roads are open

Cons: Smaller, less variety, proximity to main drag, sometimes not as accessible
