  The locals ski Mt. Rose - really?

  Pros: THE best view, pretty good variety, cheap tickets
  Cons: Shorter runs, little room in lodge, boring run to the front unless you're good

  Best midweek price from mt. rose to kirkwood.

  Pros: No lines, friendly staff, local feel, grooming. The VIEW!!!!
  Cons: to many little pockets of out of bounds, location when stormin'

  Excellent views, excellent price

  Pros: Great views, super cheap, superb for those still learning
  Cons: No lodging nearby, slower lifts, small mountain
