Known primarily for spectacular lake views, this West Shore resort also offers some of the best powder skiing in the Sierra Nevada. With Ellis Peak standing guard against high winds, Homewood's snow typically comes down loose rather than wind-blown. Riders are drawn to the resort's multiple terrain parks, such as Shredwood Forest, which has hosted World Cup and national competitions.- Was this helpful?
