Stagecoach base needs a bigger car park
My friends and family visited Heavenly in February 2008 . From the day we got there storms were coming in , three over the first week which produced fantastic snow conditions. The terrain has something for everyone from steep and deep to long wide cruisers. If you are just starting then the slope at boulder is ideal, long wide and just enough gradient to keep you going. The parks are kept in excellent condition as all the mountain staff work hard and are very friendly. Boarding down the California side gives fantastic views of the lake which in itself is Great. If the california side gets a little busy then you can head to the Nevada side where you can find Mott canyon. This is steep and deep when they have had good snowfall. The Nevada side still has excellent cruisers and you can find tree runs all over the moutain in which the trees are spread out enough to put down some good speed and beable to pick your spot to turn......Fantastic.For the die hards after a day on the slopes then head for the casino's. You can gamble the night away or head into the night clubs and ease your pains with a few shots. All in all we enjoyed our time there so much we are returning this year.......I CAN'T WAIT.
