Full review

for all you little girls out there wrighting reviews you shouldnt hold the weather or your inabillity to look at a map as bad things about the mountain. If you dont like to be cold then stay inside, and if you dont like it windy then you probably shouldnt go and stand on the top of a mountain, common sense to some apparently not for others. If your problem is not being able to make it to ca or nv after repeated tries then you probably shouldnt be just guessing where you are and ask someone smarter than you or just grab a map that they have at every lift. Granted that the run from sky to navada is a bit flat if you dont know its comming, but if your prepared any decent rider should be able to make it with little problems, and if your walking then try taking a lift and then riding across the border to make your trip a lot easier. Now Heavely as a mountain resort is a great place in my opinion, it has thousands of acres of great skiing terrain and miles of downhill possobilities. unfortunatly there trails are a bit on the easy side but the back country makes up for it in the end. there are only a couple of parks but they range them for all skill levels and are decent in size and range of options. The mountain is pricey so make sure you got some dough, and as far as affordable dinning on the mountain there really isnt but there is some at the ca\nv stateline which is just a short trip back down the gondola. Heavenly is a great mountain and has this reputation for a reason, great terrain and good service so if traveling to tahoe to ski and dont mind paying a few extra bucks then south lake tahoe and Heavenly are a good bet for a good time.
