Few ski resorts match Heavenly's scenic beauty and expansive network of lifts, terrain, trails, and snowmaking. Located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, Heavenly is the region's largest mountain resort, featuring the highest elevation and longest vertical drop.

Camper facilities not available at ski area, although there are many private and public campgrounds nearby. There's plenty of night life and gambling.

Area Recreation Profile
Take a 2.4 mile Gondola scenic ride to the summit. Heavenly offers up hiking trails, mountain biking trails, or fish in Heavenly's own East Peak Lake. Nearby activities include boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, parasailing, and hot air balloon rides. Top of the Tram is open to banquets, special social events, and weddings. Snowboarding Profile
Snowboarders are welcome. Heavenly features a boardercross trail, four terrain parks for all abilities, and a halfpipe, as well as several terrain features built around the mountain regularly. They recently installed a lighted terrain park for night riding at the California base.
