Went on a Friday and had a BLAST ! Front side faces east so it was a bit icy but rideable.Waited for the afternoon sun to turn the backside into slush and it was a shredders paradise.Best day I ever had on my board.Boosted my confidence way up.Almost ready for black diamonds.Never a crowd because of its remote location.Runs are wide open and the view from the top of koala chair is incredible.Other than the slow lifts(except for PolarBearExpress on the backside) and the antiquated lodge,Bear Valley is THE PLACE.
