Loved Bear Valley! Took a day trip up from the Bay Area with a group of 4 and we had a great time. Lift lines weren't long at all, and the Grizzly Bowl was especially a treat. Head down there and enjoy some back mountain riding plus absolutely no wait at that chair.

Highly recommend if you're looking for a good mid-size mountain. Not necessarily the best place if you're looking for a variety of terrain (just 2 parks) but a lot of open trails for intermediate to expert level riders.

To sum it all up, a little girl (maybe 6 years old) was begging and pleading her to dad to let her get one more run in before they closed up. Couldn't blame her, I didn't want to leave either!
