Badger Pass is an excellent place for people who had never skied or snowboard before, or for beginners wanting to improve their skills. There are many friendly staff to help newcomers and lessons available for a reasonable price. And
because the runs are all groomed and the lifts are gentle and slow, it's a nice place for families with little children. Furthermore, there are very few people, the lift tickets are a bargain, and you get a free shuttle up from the Valley.
The only complain I have about this place is that the runs get pretty boring after a while if you're an expert. Even so, if you happen to be in Yosemite in winter, this is a great place for anyone wanting to have some fun.
