It’s funny how a resort a few miles away will get some good snow, and other places will have nothing but ice. My buddy and I were spending late march hopping around Lake Tahoe, riding every place we could.

Alpine Meadows was a cool hill, but icy as hell when other places had wonderful spring pow. Not sure of it was wind or just ice, not sure, but the terrain itself was fun, even if you needed a skinning knife to get down it.

Terrain parks went from mild to wild with not much in between.
