Skied blackcomb on 11/28, whistler on 11/29. Blackcomb was alright but skied out fast. Somewhat crusty over a half-dozen inches of heavy new.
Whistler was pretty crowded up top (everyone was on emerald chair) and ranged from icey to pleasantly surprising. The run of the day was actually emerald down to the base. Fewer crowds - until the afternoon rush - and nice soft spring conditions. Visibility was shit, though.
No real lines on both days, which was nice.
Let's hope this new front brings some much needed new powder and lower temperatures.
