I've skiied and snowboarded North/South Lake Tahoe, Park City, Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Davos, and Whistler, and so far as I can tell, Whistler/Blackcomb is the best resort that I've seen on any continent. The terrain offers blazing-fast cruisers, tree skiing, a massive terrain park, and plenty of off-piste options. The lifts are well-placed, fast, and it consistently amazes me how many people they can move uphill without having long lift lines.
This is my favorite resort in the world -- maybe this will change as I ski other places, but from what I've seen, it's not likely.
Oh, also, make sure to try the Poutine. It's horrible for you, but oh so good.
