A huge mountain with more terrain then you can ski in a day. Took my family up for a few days and had a great time. Good programs for kids, great terrain, the amenities in the village from a dining/shopping standpoint are arguably the best in North America.FYI - Don't worry about a car once you get to Whistler. You won't need it as the paths to move around the village are very good.
