Endless Skiing
Expensive, possible rain at the base due to low elevation

Full review

Great vertical, huge acreage, well developed ski village, plenty of snow. This resort is famous for many reasons. I have been a couple times to WB around Christmas time and the lift lines were not long other than the wait for the initial gondola ride up from the base. Some people must have bad luck to complain about the lift lines. If you are complaining about lift lines then you must be a weirdo who only uses the base gondola. Yes, WB is expensive, but so are all the major ski resorts in the West. If you can't afford it then go to a cheaper, smaller resort. I am by no means rich and yet I have wealthier friends who travel less than I do. Yes, it rains at the base sometimes, but it's just some precipitation so don't be a baby. Pack proper clothing and a tiny bit of drizzle at the base shouldn't even bother you. People act as if it is raining 24/7, but it is not. Also, this place has some great food. This is one of the most developed ski resorts in the world. If you are complaining about the food then you must be eating some microwavable noodles in your hotel room. Overall, this place is just awesome. Anytime you plan a ski vacation there is always some luck involved when it comes to the snow conditions and the weather. But you can't control the weather so you have to be willing to take the risk. One time I went to Colorado to ski during Spring Break and it had worst snow conditions ever. Basically, WB should be a place every skier visits at least once in their life.
