Sun Peaks has a wide variety of slopes and challenges - from easy green beginner areas to straight downhill speed runs (on the Headwall). The three interconnected mountains also give the skier or boarder slopes facing in different directions so you can be in or out of the sun, protected from the wind or skiing the new, blowing snow. There are a wide range of accommodations - from ski chalets to moderate hotels to a Delta Hotel. None of the accommodations are far from the ski runs and many offer true ski in - ski out opportunity. Restaurants vary from snack shops to fine dining with every style and price range available. A big plus is the chance to ski with Canada's Female Athlete of the Century - Nancy Greene - or her husband and former racing coach - Al Raine. Both are great people and outstanding skiers with a thorough knowledge of the area. People who stay in the Cahilty Lodge should not miss this opportunity
