Journey is MUCH longer than advertised. Mountain is for beginners and poorly groomed. Food in village is bad and expensive. Locals are surly and aggressive. Having been to Big White, Whistler/Blackcomb, Silver Star, Sun Valley, Mission Ridge, White Pass and Schweitzer, Sun Peaks is by far the worst. The only redeeming quality is their desperate attempt to woe parents with children to visit. If you want your children learn how to ski, you are a beginner yourself and have money to waste, this is the Hill Resort for you!
