Pros: Longer runs, New chairs/gondolas.

Cons: Slow nightlife, but growing fast.

I've skied all over and this is the best palce by far! Since it's a bit further away than other mountains (ie. whistler) there are way fewer people. Bascially you the have this massive mountain with the most vertical of anywhere in America and only a fraction of the skiers you would find anywhere else. I can actually get my money's worth here since I'm doing more skiing and less standing in line. So if you want to party and drink, go to whister or aspen, if you want to ski come to Revelstoke.

PS....Revelstoke actually has great powder (not the white concrete of whister) thanks to it's elevation.
